A soldier and three men, who police allegedly caught loading metal ceiling fittings onto a truck yesterday, are currently assisting detectives with their investigations into a report of larceny.

According to police reports, acting on information received, officers attached to the La Horquetta Police Station Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Area East Operations Unit intercepted a three tonne truck along Leroy Calliste Circular, Greenvale around 12.35 pm on October 27th where men were seen loading ceiling fittings.

The men, who reportedly were unable to give a proper account for being in possession of the items, were arrested and conveyed to the La Horquetta Police Station, pending further enquiries.
