The Teaching Service Commission (TSC) has issued a reminder to  all persons in charge of minors to report all incidents of child abuse to the  Trinidad and tobago Police Service (TTPS).

  “The Teaching Service Commission wishes to remind parents, guardians, caregivers and all those who have custody, care, charge or control of a minor, including all members of the Teaching Service, that each and every abuse perpetrated against a child should be immediately reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, “ the TSC said in a Press Release on Monday.

   “In addition, should the alleged perpetrators be members of the Teaching Service, all the usual steps should also be taken to report such incidents to the School Principal, School Supervisor and the Ministry of Education”, the news release stated
