There are now 39 active cases of COVID-19 in the country, as three patients have been discharged from hospital, having fully recovered from the virus.

This is according to the Ministry of Health’s morning update (August 3).

Thirty-five patients remain at the Caura Hospital while four are receiving treatment at the Couva Hospital.
