The charred remains of three people were discovered inside a home in Upper Dibe Circular in St. James today, as fire officials responded to a blaze shortly after 2am.

Investigators are working on the theory that the incident could have been a murder and arson attack, as residents reported hearing a string of gunshots before the blaze erupted.

The three victims have not yet been identified.
