Officers of the Chaguanas Stolen Vehicle Squad and the Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday March 1, recovered a stolen vehicle.

According to the TTPS on February 24, a black Tiida motor vehicle was reported stolen to the Chaguanas CID. Following the report, an intelligence-led exercise was conducted yesterday between 10 am and 4.45 am, during which time, officers of the Stolen Vehicle Squad received pertinent information.

Acting on the information, the officers proceeded to Savannah #2 Bagatelle, Diego Martin. Upon reaching the said location, a black Tiida bearing false a number plate was recovered and conveyed to the Port of Spain Criminal Investigation Department.

Investigations are continuing.
