He was charged by W/Cpl (Ag.) Clarke, of the Tobago Division Child Protection Unit (CPU) on August 16th following a police report in June that he had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.

According to the police report, on the night of June 20th, the girl awoke from sleep and went to her kitchen located downstairs her home. The girl said she was led to the back of the house by a man where the alleged act is said to have occurred.

Further investigations into the report revealed that the man regularly parked a stone’s throw away from the girl’s home where he would usually fish. The suspect was later arrested and charged with one count of sexual penetration of a child.
