A 34-year-old labourer will appear before Scarborough Magistrate today to answer to four counts of sexual penetration of a child.

The suspect was nabbed by officers of the Tobago Division Child Protection Unit (CPU) on Saturday.

This arrest follows an investigation launched by PC Mitchell of the Tobago Division CPU surrounding the alleged assault of a 15-year-old girl who alerted officers to the assaults on November 16th, 2019.

The suspect, of Mon Repos, Morvant, who resides in Mt. St. George, Tobago, was subsequently arrested and will appear before a Scarborough Magistrate today, Monday 3rd August, 2020 where he will answer to the charges.
