A 29 year old Patience Hill man was detained by officers in the Roxborough district in Tobago on Friday night after he was found to be in possession of a loaded Glock pistol. 

Officers were on mobile patrol along Cambridge Trace, Goodwood at around 7:30pm when they observed a man acting suspiciously.

According to a police report the suspect attempted to elude the officers however he was stopped and searched.  A black and green pistol fell from his waist.

The officers seized the Glock pistol fitted with one magazine containing six 9 mm ammunition. 

The man was arrested and taken to the Roxborough Police Station.
