From January to August of this year, a total of 10,103,311 barrels of refined fuel products has been exported from Trinidad and Tobago.

This is according to Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon, who says the goods were exported to a total of 18 countries, including Guyana, Barbados, Suriname, St Lucia, Jamaica and Haiti.

“For calendar year 2022 these prices varied between USD $120.21 per barrel and USD $177.82 per barrel,” Minister Gopee-Scoon said.

The Trade Minister was responding to a question posed by Opposition Senator Jearlean John during Tuesday’s sitting of the Upper House.
