Trump Blasts “Lamestream” Media, Continues To Discredit Election Result

By Newsroom

It appears Donald Trump doesn’t plan on conceding defeat in the 2020 Presidential race anytime soon.

On Sunday afternoon, the US President took to his main communication outlet-Twitter- to make another dig at US media who he accuses of favoring his Democratic rival.

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be? We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!” Trump tweeted.

As it stands, President-elect Joe Biden has surpassed the required 270 votes in the electoral college to win the White House.

In a victory speech in Delaware last evening, Biden vowed to unify the United States, making an appeal to Republican supporters to join his effort to “heal America”.

Trump appears to have no such intentions, though.

In earlier tweets on Sunday, he repeated his baseless rhetoric that the voting process had been mired in fraud.

“We believe these people are thieves. The big city machines are corrupt. This was a stolen election. Best pollster in Britain wrote this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it’s impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states.” he wrote in a tweet that was flagged by Twitter in a notice that read “This claim about election fraud is disputed”.
