Trinidad and Tobago has received high praise from the World Health Organization, WHO, for its management of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past year.
Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus noted that the Dr. Rowley led administration was able to successfully manage cases of the virus through public health solutions, even before receiving its first batch of vaccines.
He was speaking at WHO’s Covid-19 press briefing on Thursday in Genevea, following Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley’s address as the Chair of CARICOM.
