T&T Records 137th COVID-19 Case

Trinidad and Tobago recorded one additional case of COVID-19 on Saturday morning, bringing the overall number of confirmed cases to 137. 

The additional case comes after three new cases were recorded on Friday- they are nationals who returned from Grenada this week. 

At Saturday’s media conference, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram saiid there are currently 162 people in quarantine in this country, across state facilities and private facilities under state supervision.

Only five of the cases are active, with four patients in the Caura Hospital- the fifth patient will be transferred to the facility later today, according to the CMO.
