T&T Records 140th COVID-19 Case

Trinidad and Tobago recorded one additional case of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning, bringing the overall number of confirmed cases to 140.

The patient is a national who was recently repatriated from Saudi Arabia; the Ministry says all proper protocols are being followed to provide care for the patient. 

Meanwhile, three patients were discharged from the Caura Hospital on Wednesday, having fully recovered from the virus.

According to the Ministry of Health’s morning update, 4655 unique patients have been tested for the virus to date. 

Wednesday’s new case comes after two cases were reported on Tuesday- one of which the Ministry says is pending epidemiological  investigation.
