T&T Records 7th Murder In Five Days

Five days into the year, T&T’s homicide toll is now at seven, as one man was killed overnight in east Trinidad.  

Kaylon Mayers of Benny Trace, Valencia was reported to be helping a friend repair a car at Pinto in Arima, when two men fired several shots killing him on the spot. 

On Sunday, the first double homicide was recorded for the year in Central Trinidad.

The victims were 27-year-old cashier Sharlene Lawrence and 72-year-old pensioner Roy Mahabir, both of Sampson Street Extension, Cunupia.
