T&T Records Ten New COVID-19 Cases

By Newsroom

The number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Trinidad and Tobago jumped to 192 on Tuesday morning, as the Ministry of Health confirmed ten new patients tested positive for the virus.

Seven of the new cases are linked to existing patients and the remaining three are pending epidemiological investigation.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is expected to address the nation tomorrow, Wednesday, to detail government’s plan moving forward giving the spike in cases recently.

Last week, government reduced the number of people allowed to gather in groups from 25 to 10, and reinstated a schedule/roster for public service offices, to avoid having all employees out for duty at one period in time.
