The Ministry of Health reported 27 new COVID-19 cases in its evening update (August 26), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,411

There are currently  1,204 active cases of the virus. 

Recoveries remain constant at 192, and virus-related deaths stand at 15. 

The Ministry has tested 22,255 samples for the virus to date. 

Wednesday’s confirmed cases are the highest reported in one day at 159- 132 positive cases were reported earlier in the Ministry’s morning update.
