A 20-year-old man from Point Fortin appeared before the Master Court South yesterday, charged with sexual penetration of a female minor.

According to an update from the TTPS, Kendel Ackie of Beach Road, Point Fortin appeared before Master Franklin on two accounts of sexual penetration. The charges stem from an incident in which the victim was reported missing on February 11, 2025, only to be found at Ackie’s home later that day.

Upon his arrest, Ackie was charged with two offences and subsequently granted bail for $200,000. The court ordered the accused to stop all communications with the victim and remain at least 100 feet away from her at all times.
