A firearm, ammunition, and marijuana were found by officers of the of the North Eastern Divisional Task Force during an anti-crime exercise conducted on Saturday. 

During the exercise, searches were conducted, and one man from El Socorro was arrested for 17 grams of cocaine and another man from Morvant arrested for 160 grams of marijuana.

While continuing their searches, the officers found and seized in an abandoned lot in Saw Mill Avenue, Morvant, one BushmasterXM-15 Assault Rifle with one magazine and ten rounds 5.56 ammunition.

During another search under a bridge at Ward Land Extension, the officers found and seized 114 grams of marijuana.

No one was arrested for this find.
