Three Charged Following Glencoe Home Invasion

Two men and a teenaged boy who were arrested following a home invasion in Glencoe last Wednesday have been formally charged with the crime.

Three robbery suspects that were arrested due to a citizen’s alert and the quick response of officers last Wednesday, have been charged with two counts of robbery with violence.

NICHOLAS SOLOMON, 32 of Jacobin Street, Morvant, a 17-year-old youth of Petit Valley, and REABA GILDING, 30 of Jacobin Street, Morvant were jointly charged on September 13th 2020.

An Emergency Response Patrol (ERP) unit located the suspects’ vehicle on Morne Coco Road, Petit Valley, shortly after the alert was received.

The suspects attempted to evade police, which resulted in the two vehicles colliding. The officers, along with the suspects sustained minor injuries.

A quantity of stolen items including cell phones and jewellery were recovered.

The investigation was supervised by Insp Grant and conducted by members of the Four Roads Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

They were assisted by officers of the Emergency Response Patrol and Western Division Operations Centre (WDOC).
