A pistol loaded with seven rounds of ammunition was found on one of three passengers in a car that was stopped during a police exercise in La Brea.

But all three men were detained by the cops of the South Western Division Area West Task Force on Wednesday afternoon.

The men were in a white Nissan B15 motor vehicle proceeding along the main Road in Sobo Village.

The three men whose ages range between 23 -30 years are from La Brea.

Earlier that morning officers of the Southern Division Task Force arrested another man after they searched a car that was parked at a house at Wilson Road, Penal and  found a 12-gauge shotgun and 15 cartridges.

A 55-year-old labourer was arrested.
