British police have disclosed that two men were arrested following the break-in at the home of England star Raheem Sterling. According to reports, the arrests were made after another attempted burglary in the same village.

The Surrey Police has said that their investigation will now focus on whether or not there are links between the two raids in Oxshott, Surrey.

In a statement, police said two men, who remain in custody, were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary on December 6 in the Oxshott area.

About £300,000 in jewelry was stolen from the player’s home. He has since left the England World Cup squad in Qatar and returned to the UK after the burglary.

It is thought Sterling’s fiancée, Paige Milian, returned to the couple’s home to discover that there had been a break-in. The 27-year-old has expressed grave concern about the well-being of his children following the incident.
