Two men have been murdered in Arima. In the first incident a 66-year-old man, who was beaten during a home invasion earlier this week, died at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope. He has been identified as Roland Anthony Wilson.

Three men broke into Wilson’s home and stole cash, tools and other valuables. He was beaten severely during the invasion and was rushed to the Arima Health Facility before being transferred to Mt. Hope.

In the other incident, a man identified as 39-year-old Neeval Rampersad of Thani Trace in Cumuto was shot dead while in a car at O’Meara Road, Arima.
