By Newsroom

An employee at the  Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT) has tested positive for COVID-19.

The company confirmed via a press release on Monday that the employee tested positive for the virus on Saturday.

The person was last at the Sackville Street Head Office on August 18th.

As a result, all staff of the Finance Department of the Head office have since been sent into a 14-day quarantine and the building was sanitized on Sunday.

UDeCOTT reaffirmed its commitment to the public health regulations and said it will continue to carry out sanitization efforts as was established in May.

The company also assured matters related to the Finance Department’s functions will be addressed over the 14 day period, so as to avoid a hiccup in operations.
