The body of David Francis was found on Monday, more than twelve hours after he drowned while trying to save his wife Jessica, 33, who also did not survive the incident at Cumana, Toco, on Sunday afternoon.

Jessica’s body was recovered by the TT Coast Guard on Sunday evening.   The couple who had migrated to Canada after they got married just three months ago, arrived in Trinidad on Carnival Friday.

 They had been staying at Cumana and had gone to the beach with a group of friends on Sunday. Jessica apparently got into difficulty in the water and called for help, around 4 pm.
