A shipment of Astra Zeneca vaccines which was donated to Trinidad and Tobago from the government of Bermuda will land at the Piarco International Airport this afternoon. 

Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Minister Dr. Amery Browne, Minister made the confirmation on Monday morning. 

He also revealed that instead of the 8,000 doses which he announced would be donated last week, T&T will receive 9,000 vaccines from Bermuda. 

The doses are expected to arrive at 3:50 p.m.

“The Government of Trinidad and Tobago extends its appreciation to the Government and people of Bermuda for their generosity and support,” Dr. Browne said.
