WASA Warns Of Supply Disruption From Curepe To Tunapuna

Customers from Curepe to Tunapuna who are serviced by the Valsayn High Lift Station are advised that Tuesday’s disruption in their water supply is due to  a ruptured 12inch diameter pipeline, along Narine Trace, Curepe.

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) says emergency repair works are expected to be completed by  noon on Wednesday, 8th April.

Areas affected include from Riverside Road, Curepe, to El Dorado Road, Tunapuna, inclusive of the following:
• Gordon Street

• Santa Margarita

• Mohammed Trace

• Ragbir Hill

•Warren Street

• Warner Street

• Mc McCarthy Street

• St. John’s Road

• St. Augustine north of the PBR

• Tunapuna north of the PBR

Customers are further advised that following the repairs, it may take up to 12 hours for the pipe
borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas. For further information or assistance,
