In the midst of the heavy news dominating the global space in recent weeks, Jamaican Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, attempted to spread some joy on Thursday, as he shared a clip of a birthday surprise concocted for his wife and fellow Parliamentarian, Juliet Holness. 

The Prime Minister, with the help of the couples two children, Adam Holness and Andrew Holness, surprised his wife at her constituency office. She currently serves as the Member of Parliament for East Rural St. Andrew. 

The video, which shared on his official media account, was captioned “She’s not easily surprised so I am happy I managed to pull this one off. Happy Birthday again to my wife and best friend!”

After sharing a brief kiss, PM Holness smiled, saying “Even in Corona”.

The couple have been married since 1997.
