Toronto Caribbean 2020 is on with some key changes, most notable of which is that the summer festival will take place virtually.

For all of July, up until August 1, organizers of the festival will take advantage of the growing trend of hosting virtual events, accelerated by the rise of COVID-19.

It will feature weekly segments like Microbusiness Mondays to Wellness Wednesdays- and  live social media events on Saturdays and Calypso Sundays.

As the thanked the Caribbean population in his country, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau endorsed the event, and affirmed his government’s commitment to supporting the endeavor.
