WATCH: Foreign Affairs Minister Asked About T&T’s Stance On The Rio Treaty

Asked by the Opposition to respond to the US State of Department’s reported comment that this country should consider withdrawing from the Rio Treaty if it does not plan to abide by it,  Foreign Affairs Minister Dennis Moses responded by saying government will continue to persevere notwithstanding local efforts to undermine this country’s foreign policy.

He was responding to a question on the matter from Opposition Senator Saddam Hosein during Tuesday’s sitting of the Senate.
