Watson Duke Resigns As PSA President

By Newsroom

Watson Duke has officially resigned as President of the Public Service Association, but his resignation won’t come into effect until the end of the year.

His role at the trade union became a conflict of interest after he was sworn in last Thursday as the new Deputy Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly.

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine said last Friday in his first media conference in office, that Duke was being given some time to plan his exit from the union and wrap up loose ends.
