Tropical Storm Elsa has now intensified to a hurricane.

The National Hurricane Centre (NHC) in Miami says Elsa’s maximum sustained winds have increased to near 75 miles per hour.

Hurricane warnings have now been issued for Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia.
