The West Indies have taken the lead in their T20 series against Sri Lanka. The match which was played earlier today was dominated by the men in maroon who recently lost the ODI series to Sri Lanka by 3-0.

A solid top score of 67 runs off 51 balls from opener Lendl Simmons set the WINDIES up for a competitive score of 196. In reply the Sri Lankans were demolished by Oshane Thomas who had figures of 5 wickets for 28 runs in his three overs. Sri Lanka were all out for 171 in 19.1 overs.
