Women’s Health Director Reverses Previous Position On Covid-19 & Menstruation, Admits There Are “Short-term” Effects

By Newsroom

Women who experience changes to their menstrual cycle after taking a Covid-19 vaccine are being told that their symptoms will not affect their fertility or long-term health.

The assurance comes from Director of Women’s Health, Dr. Adesh Sirjusingh, who pointed to a recent study published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

He was speaking at Wednesday’s Covid-19 media conference.

Last year, when asked about a possible link between the vaccines and menstrual changes, Dr. Sirjusingh denied there was any relation due to the act that there had been no reported cases to suggest same in the local healthcare system.
