Dr Wayne Kublalsingh will get the opportunity to cross-examine Works Minister Rohan Sinanan next month. Kublalsingh, leader of the Highway Reroute Movement (HRM), intends to question the minister about the Debe to Mon Desir leg of the Point Fortin highway extension.

The decision was handed down today by Justice Ricky Rahim who granted Kublalsingh leave for a judicial review against Sinanan for breaching a promise he made to the HRM about the highway extension.

Three days have been set aside in February on the 17, 18, 19 for the matter to be heard. HRM will also face cross examination by Sinanan’s attorney Kelisha Bello.
