The young man who drowned at the Marlin’s swimming pool on Wednesday evening, after he jumped the wall with his friends to have a swim, has not yet been publicly identified. The photo above has been circulating on social media overnight and show the paramedics placing the toying man on a stretcher after trying to revive him.

He was one of four young men who climbed over the locked gates to gain entrance to the pool which is located next to the St Anthony’s College in Westmoorings. Reports suggest that the young man got into difficulties and that his friends ran off on him.
