Five teenage girls were among the 29 women and nine men – all of whom are Venezuelans—who were arrested at  the Tzar Nightclub in Woodbrook  early on Tuesday morning,

The 38 Venezuelan nationals were arrested by officers of the Port of Spain Division during an anti-crime exercise conducted between 3:30 am and 6:00 am, on Tuesday morning at the nightclub which is located at the corner Ariapita Avenue and Carlos Streets, Woodbrook.

Among the females, five were between the ages of 15 and 17.

They were handed over to the Immigration Division to verify their immigration status.

A small quantity of narcotics was also seized during the exercise.
