Five  men, ages 24 to 70, have been detained by officers of the Child Protection Unit, on allegations of sexual assault against minors.

The men were held during a police exercise in Central Trinidad on Friday. The alleged offences include sexual touching and sexual penetration of minors.

Charges are expected to be laid against them this weekend and they will appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate on Monday.
