Kamla: Focus shifts to #GE2025

Opposition Leader Kamla Persad Bissessar says she believes her party is in a good standing following Monday’s election result, adding that they will use the momentum to continue campaigning for the next general election.

Addressing supporters on Monday night, she thanked alliance members Gary Griffith, Jack Warner and the OWTU, for “giving the PNM a run for their money”.

Meanwhile, claiming to have videos showing her opponents paying bribes in the Sangre Grande and San Fernando areas in exchange for votes in Monday’s election, Opposition Leader Kamla Persad Bissessar says UNC lawyers will advise the party on how to move forward with addressing these concerns.
