The search for toddler Allon Ramdial ended on Monday morning as the three-year-old’s body was found near the mouth of the Ortoire River. 

Ramdial had been missing since last Friday, when he disappeared from the room he shared with his mother, 19-year-old Cristianna Ramdial, at the Ortoire Fishing Port Facility. 

The child’s body was in an advanced stage of decomposition when it was recovered around 11:40am.

The four-day search was conducted by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, villagers, TT Coast Guard and police.

Mayaro Lifeguard Unit divers joined the efforts this morning.
