The first tropical wave of the season (see image above) will manifest itself tonight as the T&T Meteorological Service said the wave is expected to bring periodic cloud-cover and showers, especially after midnight. And while thunderstorm activity is not likely isolated street flooding is possible and gusty winds may also occur.

In the meantime, the Met Service predicts the Wet Season which officially starts in just under two weeks, will be above normal, especially in the first three months June to August.
