Another COVID-19 death was reported this morning, pushing the death toll from the virus to 28. The patient is said to be an elderly male with co-morbidities, according to the Health Ministry. Meanwhile, 42 new patients have tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number of active cases to 1,120.

There are six persons in the ICU at the Couva hospital and 16 at the HDU, among the 90 patients there.

There are another 20 patients at Caura.
