An investigation has been launched by Arima police into the kidnapping of a 22-year-old Venezuelan woman at her Wallerfield home earlier today, May 31. According to police, Maryesi Bazzos was at her Demerara Road, Wallerfield, home at around 2.00 am with two relatives.

At around that time three men stormed the house. The intruders tied up Bazzos’ relatives and stole cellphones and cash before putting the young woman in the back seat of a black Mitsubishi SUV.
