Police shut down operations at Hill View Bar in San Fernando earlier today, after the owner was found conducting sales in breach of the Covid-19 Regulations. 

Officers PCs Maharaj and Singh were on mobile patrol along Dumfries Road, Hermitage Village, San Fernando, when they observed that Hill View Bar was open for business and the owner, Arjoon reportedly conducting sales contrary to the provisions of Section 3(1) of the Emergency Powers Regulations.

Rajendra Arjoon, 58, was arrested and charged and is expected to appear at the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to answer the charges.
