Barbados To Reopen Borders July 12

Barbados is moving ahead to its ‘new normal’ from July 1st, with Prime Minister Mia Mottley announcing that the island will lift its curfew measures implemented three months ago to combat COVID-19.

The country will also reopen its borders to international travel on July 12.

Below are the measures that will come into effect on the island from next Wednesday:

-Daycare centres will reopen to full capacity

-Sporting events will be able to have spectators, once physical distancing and wearing of masks are observed. Indoor events will be subject to density requirements.

• The limit for outdoor entertainment and social events has been raised to 500 people, and those indoor will be subject to density capacity. Pending authorization that limit can go above 500 from July 15.

• The one-hour limit for church services will be lifted.Nation)
