Beenie Man Charged For Allegedly Hosting Party In Breach Of Covid Rules

Jamaican dancehall artiste Beenie Man will appear in court next month after being formally charged with allegedly hosting a party in the St. Elizabeth parish, in breach of Covid-19 rules. 

The 47 year old entertainer, whose real name is Moses Davis, turned himself in at the Black River Police Station Old Year’s day,  hours after there was a summons issued for him. 

The formal charges are breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act (DRMA) and the Noise Abatement Act.

The entertainer is scheduled to appear in the St Elizabeth Parish Court on February 10 to answer to the charges.
