Bloomberg Pulls Out, Now He Backs Biden

By Newsroom

Michael Bloomberg has ended his bid for the White House after a poor showing on Super Tuesday.

And he is now throwing his support behind Joe Biden.

Biden (@ right in photo) scored victories from Texas to Massachusetts on Super Tuesday, revitalizing a presidential bid that was teetering on the edge of disaster just days earlier

“I’ve always believed that defeating Donald Trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it. After yesterday’s vote, it is clear that candidate is my friend and a great American, Joe Biden,” Mr Bloomberg( @left) a former Mayor of New York City said in his statement.

Out of the 14 states and territories which voted on Tuesday, the billionaire only managed to win in American Samoa.

Biden’s main rival Bernie Sanders seized the biggest prize with a win in California.

It could take weeks — or months — for the party to pick one of them to take on President Donald Trump in the November general election.
