Caribbean Airlines has confirmed that a flight bound for the Piarco International Airport was yesterday diverted due to a “medical emergency”.

A statement from the Airline on Tuesday said a second relief aircraft was sent to bring the passengers to Trinidad, however CAL said due to circumstances beyond their control, that aircraft was also unable to leave Puerto Rico.
