Former President Anthony Carmona is in home isolation after testing positive for Covid-19.

His daughter, Anura, also contracted the virus.

He says all persons they recently came into contact with have been notified of their positive results, in keeping with proper Covid-19 protocol and contact tracing. 

Carmona’s wife, Reema and son Christian are also quarantined as a precaution. 

At present Trinidad and Tobago has 1,161 active Covid-19 cases, out of the 9,383 on record. 

There are also 157 deaths related to the virus.
