The ban on the public use of glass bottles at carnival events goes into effect at 4 AM on February 24th  and ends at midnight on Tuesday 25th.

But there will be exemptions, as defined in the legal notice below. Some persons will be authorized to have glass bottles in their possession.

More importantly, the public use of glass bottles will be banned not just at the carnival events but within 100 meters of the event.
