The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port of Spain has announced that effective immediately, all weddings, funerals and wakes should be limited to 25 or fewer participants with abridged versions of the liturgy.

This is being done in order to most effectively maintain the “social distancing” called for by government officials and health care experts.

Faith formation and other congregational gatherings remain suspended during this time as well. Parishes can make arrangements for the continuing formation of children or the rest of the faithful through the available digital resources.
